Cultural richness contained in music exposes children to different cultures in the world. This will help them learn to respect every community. School music festivals are usually held annually by high schools, groups all over the world to celebrate the different musical talents and education. With the different talents, pupils get to see the traditions of communities all over.

Music is an art that help express creativity. It has different styles that express emotions and periods. In the festival, the organizers choose a certain theme to be followed by students presenting their pieces. In other celebrations, focus is on historical music of an area, while others on types like polka and jazz. Choosing a theme for all groups helps them focus on one thing to entertain the attendees.

People may think this event only benefit listeners, but they forget students who are the performers gain something too. One is that they learn new songs that their schools could not teach them. The entire competition either done by a group of student or an individual allows the get skills that they could not get from their teachers.

This is an easy way for students to get to this industry after completing their studies and show different talents they possess. It is through these talents that can help them have a successful life.

The festival allows children win prizes to appreciate their good performance. These prizes maybe musical instruments, which can help students, improve their skills. The event could also be source of money to students and schools through commercial booths. They sell food and products such as musical instruments and crafts to entertain visitors. In turn, they help festival earn some money if they are managed by the event organizers.

Benefits related with school music festivals have been reported to also help the disabled students. With various musical instruments, they use the rhythm to express their inner thoughts to people through singing or playing these instruments. Consequently, these therapy programs have been presented in these schools to help the disabled pupils and outstanding outcomes are seen.
